This colorful, conversational collection invites children to discover what God reveals about Himself throughout Scripture. They’ll look closely at names and descriptions, explore the encounters behind them, create visual reminders, and follow Jesus through His death and resurrection.

Along the way, children investigate a recurring pattern: people encounter God, discover something about who He is, and respond.

The collection includes four connected Bible Adventures:

Adventure 1: Find the Name
What does Scripture tell us about who God is? Kids connect “I AM” in Exodus with the everlasting God in Psalm 90, then begin collecting names and descriptions that reveal His character.

Adventure 2: Why THAT Name?
Why did Hagar speak about the God who sees? Why did Abraham name a place “The Lord Will Provide”? Kids explore the stories of Hagar, Abraham, Gideon, and Moses, discovering how names can help people remember what God revealed.

Adventure 3: Picture Who He Is
Why did Jesus call Himself bread, light, a shepherd, or a vine? Kids explore His words in context, choose a description that catches their attention, and create a memory marker connected with Scripture.

Adventure 4: Look What He Did
What do Jesus’s actions reveal about Him? Kids connect the Good Shepherd’s words with His death and resurrection, then investigate Thomas’s response to the risen Jesus: “My Lord and my God.”

Each Adventure combines guided conversation, Scripture investigation, purposeful illustrations, and opportunities to respond. Most passages appear as references so families and educators can use their preferred Bible translation; selected quotations are from the KJV.

The accompanying parent and educator conversation guide preserves the discoveries behind the illustrated pages. An undated Scripture reading grid makes the collection usable throughout the year, including during an Easter study.
