A B See! Recite the WORD is a creative approach to Scripture memorization. Our goal is finding creative ways to instill God’s Word in the hearts and minds of children. We’ve written this study as a resource to stimulate multiple learning styles.

We learned through our own children and homeschooling years that engaging visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles increases a child’s ability to retain the information presented. When that information is God’s Word… we increase not only a knowledge of Scripture, but an ability to use that understanding in their daily life and deepen their relationship with Jesus!

Coloring Pages

Our A B See! Coloring Pages were the jump start to this study! These alphabetical order themed Bible verses are given simple illustrations. Use these pages for a "master memorization" binder to recite God's Word each day. You can also print a copy for each child to use as a coloring page to add their own creative touch! Our desire is by reciting the verses, a word, drawing or the creative approach will stick in each student's mind to remember God's Word and apply it!

Lesson Guide

In our A B See! Lesson Guide, we have researched and gathered information in one place to save you time and spur creativity: Word definitions- Discussion of the verse Work the WORD Activities to engage the senses Further Reading in the WORD More information below!

Work the Word

The Work the WORD pages are a hands on and visual way to work through the Bible verses. The Discussion area of the Lesson Guide will prompt you to circle in various colors, or underline key words and verbs in the verse. This will allow you and the student to see the relationship between you and God! What God is doing and what you should be doing! This approach visually connects repeated words, phrases or themes in God's Word.

Draw the Word

We don't want to limit you to only our drawings. We encourage you to stretch your creativity envisioning God's Word by illustrating the verses too! You may have a better vision to put onto paper that inspires you and helps you remember a verse. The goal is to "draw closer to God"!
